Who can get a library card, how to apply, and how to use your library card.

Library cards are issued free of charge at the Mallard Public Library

Lost/stolen/damaged library card - please ask the library staff to issue you a replacement card

Guest Computer Cards - Available for one day use (beyond this please apply for a regular card)

  • To Receive a Card for An Adult (those 6th grade and older are issued an adult card) ...
    • Fill out the application and return it to the person at the front desk

    • The information you have provided will be entered into the library's computer system and you will be issued a library card

To Receive a Card for a Child  ...

A Parent or guardian is responsible for the materials checked-out on a child's card (the Mallard Public Library defines a child as one who has not yet entered 6th grade) therefore ...

  • Fill out the application and return it to the person at the Desk
  •  The information you have provided will be entered into the library's computer system and the child will be issued a library card
